Consciousness, Wholeness & the Psychedelic Renaissance: A Conversation with James Fadiman

This conversation explores how depth psychology and psychosynthesis can offer much-needed structure, ethics, and integration within today’s renewed interest in expanded states of consciousness. It is part of a new free webinar series on Psychosynthesis & Consciousness, developed in partnership with the Association for the Advancement of Psychosynthesis (AAP) — a registered non-profit dedicated to making Psychosynthesis more accessible to practitioners and the wider public. We’ll be exploring how Psychosynthesis — Roberto Assagioli’s psychology of the Self — can offer missing scaffolding for psychedelic preparation and integration today.

Why this matters:

James Fadiman is not only a leading figure in contemporary psychedelic research — he was also an early student of Assagioli (the founder of Psychosynthesis) in the 1960s. Just as psychedelics are returning to the mainstream, Psychosynthesis is having its own resurgence. Bringing these two lineages together offers a rare opportunity to enrich the field with a nuanced and integrative lens.

Themes we’ll cover:

• How psychedelics and Psychosynthesis illuminate new pathways to wholeness

• The role of will, inner harmony, and Self in supporting expanded states

• How the so called “Psychedelic Renaissance” can benefit from more integrative psychological frameworks (particularly in the context of increasing commercialisation)

• Reflections on 100 years since the founding of the Institute of Psychosynthesis in Rome

• Questions & reflections from the audience

Live attendance will be limited to support depth and connection.
All registrants will receive the full recording, even if they cannot attend live.
